DN100 Manual Hand Lever PVC Plastic Butterfly Valve
PVC butterfly valves feature a disc-shaped closing mechanism that rotates 90 degrees to control fluid flow. Made from durable PVC, they withstand harsh conditions and resist corrosion, making them ideal for outdoor and water-based applications like water parks and aquariums.
Introduce
PVC butterfly valves have a closing mechanism that is shaped like a disc. When the actuator, or handle, is turned, the disk turns at a 90-degree angle to the flow, allowing fluid to pass through the opening this creates. Because the valve's disc is in the path of the flow, there will be a slight drop in pressure with this type of valve. When the actuator is turned to the "off" position, the valve's disc turns to a parallel position, completely blocking the opening and the flow.
Function
All products are made from durable PVC to withstand the elements or abrasive chemicals. They will not warp or crack when exposed to cold temperatures, making them ideal for outdoor applications. They also do not rust, making them the preferred valve for water-based applications. These valves are commonly found in water parks, fountains and aquariums and can also be used in light chemical mixing applications.
